First, you help others using your own unique skills, abilities, knowledge, and creativity. In the process, you are helping to keep a unique invention from going to waste, and teaching one or more people.
Then, you get help from others. You will gain knowledge, and learn about various skills. You also have the advantage of getting many opinions, and a wide variety of creativity and logics. Some members will draw up diagrams, blueprints, or even 3D models of your invention.
Finally, you are left with all the knowledge, blueprints, and reasoning to make your invention a reality. Some members may even use their resources to help with marketing.
